Brinklow 0 - Hibs 3
Wembley here we come, sorry wrong competition lol
The weather was blowing a lot so it was difficult for both teams.
Hibs played against the wind in the first half but battled for every ball. Laura was a rock just in front of the back 2 although the whole team played well.
Hibs had a few chances in the first half, the best going to Beth after a great through-ball by Laura but despite having time to control the ball, she put it wide.
Brinklow's only real chance in the first half was dealt with by Ellis.
H-T 0-0
The second half began with Ellis playing out as Tash felt unwell. Brinklow started the faster but Hibs battled hard.
Hibs soon started putting pressure on with Laura pushing forward a lot more.
The pressure eventully told with Ellis scoring from a rebound off the keeper after a shot by Beth.
The defence were playing very well and stopping Brinklow almost everytime. The times Brinklow did get past the defence they didnt trouble Tash in goal.
Ellis soon scored her and Hibs second goal after a strong run, she shot and the keeper dropped the ball into the net.
With 3 minutes left Laura had a shot which the keeper saved but Beth followed up and made it 3-0.
Hibs were to a player excellent.

02/02/2008 Leamington Hibs Girls 11-Westwood 1
A great result for Hibs. Our first win of the season.
Hibs had Laura playing on her debut and she scored 6.
Hibs got of to a quick start and were 1-0 up after 1 minute ( scored by Laura).
There was some good passing by Hibs.
Laura got 3 more by half time and Westwood had scored there goal.
Half- Time Hibs 4- Westwood 1
Hibs started the second half where they left off from the 1st with a quick start.
Westwood were competitive and never gave up.
Lily went in goal for the second half and never touched the ball.
The scorers in the second half were Laura(2), Beth(2,(1pen),Ellis(2) and Tash(1).
A great performance from the girls.

01/12/2007 Alcester 0 - Leamington Hibs Girls 0
In the first half, both teams had a couple of chances each but were unable to find a breakthrough.
The second went the same way, both teams evenly matched throughout. Another improved performance from Hibs.

17/11/2007 Brinklow 2 - Leamington Hibs Girls 0
Hibs had to have a change of keeper as Ellis had an injury that prevented her going in goal. Lily stepped forward and volunteered for the job.
Both teams started brightly but Brinklow soon started to come out on top. Only the fact that Lily played very well and some dogged defending kept the score level until about 5 mins before the break when brinklow scored. Unfortunatelyy within a couple a minutes of the restart, Brinklow went 2 up through an unfortunate goalkeeping error.
Both teams kept battling and Hibs finally got something out of the game when the referee said that Ellis had been fouled in the area, Penalty.
Beth stepped up and although Brinklow's keeper did a fantastic effort to get to the ball she couldn't stop it from going in. This was by far Hibs best performance of the season so far. Keep it up girls.

Hibs started the game well but unluckily they lost 2-0

13/10/2007 Admirals 8 - Leamington Hibs Girls 0
Hibs matched Admirals for the first 10 minutes, then the pressure became to much. Player of the match Ellis made some good saves in the 1st half but had to come off due to injuring her hand, with the score at 4-0 . She came back on as an outfield player. The whole team are improving with each game.
06/10/2007 Leamington Hibs Girls 2 - Alcester 2
A very exciting first 6 minutes when all 4 goals were scored. Hibs were 2 up inside the 1st 3 mins, both scored by Georgia,but Alcester fought back quickly and were soon on level terms. The rest of the match could have gone either way with a number of chances for both teams. The match was played in a sporting way with neither team disputing any decisions. Well done to both teams.
